Salvos Review: Monster Evolution With a Personality

Salvos has a simple advantage: its protagonist is memorable before the progression machinery even finishes warming up. A demon growing through a LitRPG world could easily become a generic monster-evolution ladder. Instead, Salvos herself gives the series its shape. She is curious, stubborn, social, dangerous, and often funny in ways that make becoming stronger feel connected to becoming more specifically herself.

That matters because monster evolution can become mechanical if the story treats each form as a stat skin. Here, change raises identity questions. What does it mean to be a monster if your friendships are real? What parts of demonic nature are instinct, culture, survival, or choice?
